What the Wednesday - Maybe more like Watch This Wednesday
This doesnt really fit on What the Wednesday, its really more of a Throwback Thursday thing, but uh...

Powder and Rails, the VBS show about Snowboardings roots, is back with season 2, and so far it is pretty amazing. We told everyone about this during "Web Presents" and mentioned something about it on our facebook page yesterday, but for your convenience we have put the first three episodes of Powder and Rails right here. The first episode tells the Shawn Farmer story, and the other two are spent delving into Noah Salasnek's role in shaping snowboarding. Its all really cool, and you should for sure watch it- even if you don't think you care too much about it, knowing all about snowboarding history will make you sound way cooler on your next gondola ride.

From making the Mt. Baker gap so famous to being the first action sports rapper Shawn Farmer had a lot to do with early snowboarding, and its all super entertaining... very worth 26 minutes of your time.

You might not have known that Noah Salasnek was a pro skater for H-Street back in the day. There is probably a lot more that you dont know about Noah, so watch this. JP Walker says he had like the best back 7 ever so...
...The third episode (Noah Salasnek Part 2) isnt on Youtube yet, so you can just watch it on VBS.tv, here, and learn all about super spines.
In other Wednesday news, the [ak] GORE-TEX gloves give-away is still going on, and we've got three more winners. This weeks gloves are going out to Mark Hanick, Armani Rivera, and William Main, congratulations guys. This thing is going on for a few more weeks, so make sure to sign up here.
Remember that there is a new Powder and Rails every Tuesday, so uh... click here every Tuesday and watch 'em.

I feel like they really "familyized" shawn farmer for the First Descent movie.. The real and raw version of him is much different. He is one crazy dude..
