Techknow Tuesday - Super Demo Tour and Am Series
Ever wonder what it’s like to ride a Flying-V, or maybe what that NEW Holy Shit Outsole is all about on the Grails?

Well, maybe its time to stop wondering and start demoing, or better yet- SUPER DEMO’ING! Every year Burton criss-crosses North America and Europe with a couple trucks full of all of our boards, boots, and bindings- stopping at resorts and letting people have a go on whatever they want. It is the perfect chance for everyone to “try-before-they-buy” or just try out for fun. We are always talking about new technologies in our product, and the best way to really grasp what those new technologies are is to get them on snow.

This year's Super Demo Tour kicked off last weekend at Keystone (Colorado), and continues on in Mt. Hood Meadows, Oregon this weekend. Click here for a full list of all the stops, and make sure you get out to a demo.

The Super Demo Tour stop at Mt. Hood Meadows also include the first of six stops of this years Burton Am series tour. If you are unfamiliar with the Am Series, it is pretty much exactly what it sounds like- an amateur snowboard contest tour. They are open to the public, and feature slope style and halfpipe competitions for dudes and chicks. The winners in each discipline at each event earn a wild card spot into this year's US Open at Stratton. Pretty cool, and a real good way for you young bucks to get your name out there. Learn more about the Burton Am Series by clicking here. This could be your big chance bro.

Misty Nug: The biggest monster truck ever is Bigfoot 5, its got 10 foot wheels.
