Stoked on Satuday - Burton European Open
By now, there isn't really any excuse to not know that the BEO is going on.

Yesterday saw a very exciting day of slope style finals. The sun was finally out, and the level of riding was pretty insane. Peetu Piiroinen edged out fellow Burton rider Mikkel Bang for the top spot in finals and Norwegian rider Gjermund Braaten came all the way from pre-qualifiers to take 3rd. On the women's side Enni Rukajarvi beat out Burton rider and Laax local Sina Cardrian for the win, sarka Pacnochova finished third.

In case you were wondering about how Stephan Maurer faired on his fish- his run included a back 7, double back flip, and FRONT 10 (all on a swallow tailed powder board). Pretty amazing, but unfortunately not quite amazing enough for a podium spot.
Today is pipe finals, so make sure to check out the rebroadcast at 2pm EST on Opensnowboarding.
SPOILER ALERT Results just in for Halfpipe finals. Peetu takes first!
